I love dressing and looking nice and I also like being comfortable. There are days when I’m all about doing my hair and putting on a nice outfit and then there are those days when I just want to be comfortable but I still need to go out in public. Then there is The Budget! Shoes are definitely my weakness but show me a cute work outfit or comfortable but cute Fall ensemble and I’m hooked. Clearly, there is a battle between my love of fashion and my budget. That was until I found THREDP.
thredUP is the easiest way to save money on great Women’s and Kids’ clothing brands and sell clothes for cash. They’re like a consignment store, but simpler. On thredUP you can refresh your entire wardrobe online without ever leaving your house.

I love shopping at THREDUP because not only can I mail them the clothes I no longer wear and get paid for them but their selection is huge, for lack of a more eloquent word, and the prices make my dreaded budget very happy. Bonus that they carry kids clothes too so I can shop for Addie without having to drag her to the store with me or find time in my schedule. As a mom, there is nothing more convenient than that because let’s face it, moms, trying to clothes shop with your kid(s) in tow is its own brand of torture. I’m also a bit addicted to seeing that THREDUP box on my doorstep.
I have purchased a variety of items from THREDUP, one of my favorites is this black jacket I got last Fall. I can dress up a simple tee and jeans by adding this jacket and I’m ready for a date with the hubby or add it to a feminine dress and add booties to change up the whole look and feel. There are also these jeans that I could live in and I can easily roll them up and add sneakers or booties depending on where I’m going to or what I’m doing. Everyone needs at least one pair of versatile jeans, or 2 or 3 or 4? There are many other items. Shhh….don’t tell my husband. 😉
THREDUP makes it so simple for me to clean out my closet and update my wardrobe while still being able to purchase the brands I love at a fraction of the cost. When I’m ready to clean out my closet I order a Clean Out Kit, mail it out and wait for my credit so I can fill those empty spaces! There is an Evaluation Process because they have to make sure your clothes are defect-free and one of the brands that they accept but honestly if you take care of your clothes you shouldn’t have to worry about the defects and their selection of brands that they accept is very large. If they happen to not accept a particular item they will either donate the clothes to a third party seller and donate the proceeds to charity or ship it back to you for a small cost. What do you have to lose, some clothes you never wore anyway?
Have you tried THREDUP yet? Have $10 on me to find your next favorite item.
